The page does not confirm successful sending
Complete any verification required by the sending site or wait for its rate limit to clear. Refreshing the inbox cannot make an email appear if it has not been sent.
Verification email arrival test
Use a repeatable arrival-time test to tell whether the sender hasn’t sent the message, it’s still queued, the address is wrong, or the site doesn’t accept temporary domains.
Zero to ten minutes
Most verification codes expire quickly. Keep only one latest request at a time to avoid entering an old code when multiple emails arrive.
Compare the address on the site’s confirmation page with the address at the top of your inbox, paying close attention to the domain, numbers, and final characters. Keep the current page open.
Make sure the site clearly says “sent,” rather than showing a form validation error, rate limit, or incomplete CAPTCHA.
TempWays checks for new mail automatically, but you can also refresh manually. Don’t repeatedly click send within a few seconds.
If the sender allows it, resend once and use the newest verification code. Note the time of the second request, then keep waiting instead of clicking repeatedly.
If nothing arrives, switch to another temporary address or test with a long-term inbox. Change only one condition at a time so you can identify the cause.
Read the signals
A delay can have several causes. The send-page message, whether other emails arrive, and what happens after changing addresses all provide useful clues.
Complete any verification required by the sending site or wait for its rate limit to clear. Refreshing the inbox cannot make an email appear if it has not been sent.
The original address may have been entered incorrectly, expired, or marked unavailable by the sender. Continue with the new address and discard codes from the old request.
The sender may restrict disposable domains. This is not a queue delay that waiting will fix; use a backup inbox or a managed forwarding alias instead.
This usually indicates a delay in the sending or delivery queue. Use only the newest message and let earlier codes expire.
Resend discipline
Repeated resends create several codes with similar expiration times, and some services immediately invalidate older codes. Send only once during the waiting window to avoid mistaking an invalid old code for a delayed email.
If the page shows a rate limit, wait until the stated cooldown ends. Changing email addresses cannot bypass restrictions imposed by the sender on your account, device, or network.
Experiment log
The sequence below preserves cause and effect. Avoid changing the address, device, and resend behavior at the same time, or you won’t know what actually caused the result.
| Round | Keep unchanged | Change | Observe |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | Address and device | Wait and refresh manually | Assess normal delivery delay |
| Second | Address and device | Resend once after an interval | Check whether the send request succeeded |
| Third | Account and device | Switch to a temporary address | Assess the original address status |
| Fourth | Account and device | Use a long-term inbox | Assess the domain acceptance policy |
